、 Baoyu was born to enjoy excitement and wished he could have gatherings every day. Lin Daiyu, on the other hand, has a natural inclination to disperse rather than gather.
、 Daiyu said, 'When people gather, they disperse. When they gather, they are happy, but when they disperse, they are cold.'? If it's cold, it's sad, so it's better not to gather together. For example, when flowers bloom, they evoke admiration, but when they wither, they add melancholy, so it's better not to bloom. ’
、 Daiyu feels a bit like a Buddhist. She thinks that if the flowers bloom until the end, they will wither, so it's better not to bloom at all.
、 The Buddhist teachings of "Nirvana" and "Not to be reborn" mean to break free from the cycle of reincarnation and not to have the future, because as long as one is human, there will be birth, aging, sickness, and death. Nirvana that breaks free from the cycle of reincarnation is "extinction", which means that all four things are empty. This "emptiness" means that neither this life nor the next life is needed.
、 The folk understanding of Nirvana is often misunderstood, believing it to be the perfection of life, but in fact, Nirvana is nothing, which is exactly the opposite of the Confucian understanding.
