1、 The Republic believes that while knowledge and truth are beautiful, the concept of "goodness" is even more beautiful It should be said that knowledge and truth are similar to "goodness", but it would be wrong to say that knowledge and truth are "goodness" because "goodness" is more noble than knowledge and truth.

2、 Plato also used religious myths to argue for the eternity of hierarchical order. He said that gods use different things to create different levels: rulers are made of gold, warriors are made of silver, farmers and artisans are made of copper and iron. He strongly opposed Athens' slave owning democracy, and his ideal country was a Spartan style aristocratic dictatorship system.

3、 Plato believed that the most suitable political system is a hybrid system that is neither a monarchy nor a democracy. In such a country, public ownership of property, shared wives and children, and gender equality should be implemented. Due to the private ownership of property causing national division and partisan disputes, only laborers are allowed to have a certain amount of personal property for the purpose of production.

4、 The Republic is the first systematic treatise on political philosophy and the first utopian work in Western intellectual history.
